FlightCrewLabs Logo
Wasting dev hours. Learning by doing.

I can't stop tinkering even if I wanted to. So I built a place to share those experiments.

FlightCrewLabs is a launchpad for my random software, systems design, and emerging ideas. Web Apps. Discord Bots. A little bit of whatever we are feeling/need at the time.

Why?

You might ask yourself, why did you build this? The answer is pretty simple. I wanted a place that I, friends, and associates could interact with things that I'm working on and watch them evolve over time.

FlightCrew?

The name is a nod to a discord server I run with friends. My initials spell JET, so the plane theme just stuck. We added the Labs part just to make it sound more official.

Labs

I plan on hosting a variety of projects here. Some will be polished and public-facing. Others will be experimental and potentially locked down.

About

A digital workshop for building, learning, and sharing whatever I'm excited about at the moment.

FlightCrewLabs is nothing more than a sandbox for some of my half-baked ideas. Not all of them will see the light of day, but it will be fun nontheless. If you stumbled upon this place by mistake, welcome! Sorry for the mess!

Approach

Experimental, hands-on, and iterative

Focus

Web platforms, tools, experiments

Philosophy

Build what's fun. Launch if you feel like it. Enjoy.

Focus Areas

Interfaces

Modern web experiences that may or may not follow conventional patterns.

Platforms

Internal tools, public sites, and structured systems with room to grow.

Experiments

Prototypes, side projects, and ideas still taking shape in the lab.

Projects

What lives here

01

Excelldex

Pokedex application that we've used for years. Built to give a quick view of a pokemon's stats, strengths, and weaknesses.

02

AI Experiences

Application with interactive stories that are (mostly) hand crafted. The AI is used to fill in the blanks and add some variability, but the core structure is built by hand to ensure a solid experience.

03

Random Idea of the Week

This is a placeholder that will most likely be replaced by whatever I'm working on at the moment.
